Step 16: Press "D" for detail correction. Continue pressing "Enter" until you reach the "Where Kept Overnight" section. Confirm with the policyholder where the vehicle will be kept (Garage, Road, or Driveway) and select the appropriate option. Press "Enter" to proceed.

Step 17: Press "End" and then "11," followed by "Enter," to run the quote.

Step 18: Confirm the price with the policyholder and inquire if they want to proceed with the change. Depending on their payment method:

If they paid in full, collect payment via card.

If they are paying via instalments, offer options to pay in full by card or split the total amount over their direct debits.

If they are paying via direct debits, check the CPF portal to ensure they have at least 3 payments available for splitting. If the additional premium is over £300.00, collect a 20% deposit by card and split the remainder over their direct debits.

Step 19: After determining the payment method, press "Enter" and then "W" for write away.

Step 20: Press "N" for No when asked about special endorsements and press "Enter."

Step 21: Press "Enter" until you reach the broker administration fee section. Adjust the fee accordingly:

If there is an additional premium, the fee should be £40.00.

If there is a return premium, amend the fee to include 10% of the insurer's premium using the MTA calculator.

Step 22: If the amounts are correct (Total Selling Price), press "Enter" until you reach the next page.

Step 23: Continue pressing "Enter" until you reach the "Payment Received" section:

If the policyholder is splitting the amount over direct debits, press "0" and then "Enter." If asked to split, answer "Y" for yes.

If the policyholder is paying in full, press "Enter" three times and collect their card details.

Step 24: You will be directed to the notes section via P37 with a prepopulated MTA.doc. Write comprehensive notes including:

Time of the call

Whether the policyholder called in or was called

The requested change

Cost breakdown (AP, FEE, TAP, RP, FEE, TRP/TAP)

Details of fund handling (e.g., PH paid by card or split over DDs).

Step 25: After entering past line 7, CDL will ask if it's okay to write the record. Answer "Y" for Yes and press "Enter."

Step 26: Enter details for multiple printers and answer "Y" for Yes only if the policy was being audited for validation documents. Otherwise, answer "N" for No. Press "Enter" to proceed.

Step 27: Select the correct payment method option from the list and press "Enter."

Step 28: Enter the total value for the MTA if payment was collected or if a return premium is applicable.

If the policy holder is paying via instalments, then you would need to update the address on CPF as well.

Please note that if there is more than one active line then, you will need to only charge the additional premium on the other line’s as we have already charged a fee.
