Most UK drivers must hold a valid Plastic Licence card to be on the roads. Occasionally an elder resident of the UK may have a paper licence only however this is becoming a rare anomaly as upon renewal of their licence they will be switching to Plastic Card. We require both front and back of the plastic card (or just front of a paper licence) and will need to check the following:
Both Front and back received
Name on Licence
Date of Birth
Pass date
Renewal date
All Drivers received
On an old-style paper licence you would need to check the convictions section also.
