Due to the INFO.NCB being created, another team will then be able to process the actual validation with the old insurer either by telephone or email depending on the agreement with them.
If you receive paper proof or verbal confirmation you would need to check for the following:
Is it from the insurer/a โdelegatedโ broker?
On headed paper/officially from above?
Is it in the name of our policyholder?
Lapse/Cancellation Date (if it doesnโt match ours refer to Gap/Overlap cribsheet)
Number of Years
Upon verbal or paper proof confirmation we must log the following details by creating an INFO.AUD on CDL:
Enter Company Name?
Enter Contact Name? โ (If Paper Proof take advisor name from letter or insurer email address)
Enter Phone Number Called? โ (For Paper Proof just write Paper Proof in here)
Enter NCB Years?
Did insurer supply date? - (Must always be Yes to complete NCB Audit)
Enter Expiry Date?
Is reg the same as the one we insure?
Claim in Year? (If this is a Yes then complete an INFO.CLM and compare to disclosure & CUE check).
